Just a question

Nothing scientific to back this up, but I would say that in general a healthy animal will have more vivid markings displayed than an animal that is not fed a varied and nutritious diet and kept in optimal conditions. Also, proper lighting or exposure to sunlight will effect an animal's health and will lead to better color. However, if your question is can you alter the colors that an adult will eventually have because of its care, I doubt it. That is genetic, and you are not going to change that.
