Ok so I to veiled chams male and female. They are okay eaters but not the best. But recently they have not been eating at all! And if they have very little. I don't know what the problem is. Also another thing is my male chameleon is a darkish color mixed with green when he's in his cage but when I take him out he's very bright. Is that normal?

Both veiled chams are about 1 and a half to 2 years old.
I handle the female everyday. never the male he wont let me I don't want to stress him out.
I put about ten mealworms Inthere dish everyday, which is located at the bottom of the plant pot.
repti calcium and multi vitamin.
mist 8 times a day the first and the last mist for 1:45 minutes and the rest for 45 seconds.
poop is brown/black pee is white/yellow.
I bought them on craigslist from a guy that knew what he was doing and there both looked healthy.
Both are screen cages the girls is 24x24x36 boys is 24x24x48.
both have 50 watt basking an uvb.
never done any of the just kept it the way the guy had it.( should I be doing that, if so what should the temps be).
around 60-80.
live plants no idea what kind with stick from outside and fake vines.
near a window with closed curtains the top of the boys is around 4foot fro the floor.

Is that all you are feeding meal worms? If so, that is a very poor diet and you should have their diet consist of a variety of feeders Are you using a multivitamin everyday? If so, do not do that. You can cause a lot of problems overdosing on vitamins. The calcium you are using should NOT contain d3. If it does, then get a calcium that does not contain d3. That can be used at every feeding. Can your chameleons see each other, even though they are caged separately? If so, then put something up so they cannot see one other. Other common feeders are crickets, roaches, silkworms, hornworms, superworms, moths, stick bugs, phoenix worms, butterworms... there are many other choices other than meal worms. Can you please post some pics of you chameleons and your set ups so we can make sure everything is ok?

If you only offer worms sometimes they get attached to them. I usually stop offering the worms, do not offer food the following day and then introduce crickets or roaches. I have had chams that don't like roaches initially but eventually they come around. Most of my older chams will eat anything

Well also they haven't ate anything in forever. But usually they are good eaters. Also should I always have food up for offer with them. Or should I feed them myself?
