Jungle Dawn - Wattage question

Greetings

Have recently purchased a 36x18x36 glass viv that I am currently putting a backdrop in. Will be bioactive and hopefully will house a Panther down the line. Not looking for specialist plants but plan some 'on the ground'.

In addition to UV and basking light, I'll be need some plant lights. I see the jungle dawn LED bars are recommended and am considering one.

As the viv is 36'' tall and wide, would one of the largest be best - the 51W, 34'' light bar? I've seen some places recommending just the 13W for 36'' deep vivs, perhaps the 51W is overkill?

Many thanks for any thoughts or experiences with these.

You are looking for duel fixture. That is how you do well with plants, give them their own light. There are actually other options than fluorescent, but if you are already buying a fixture it is an easy way to add light. This will also encourage your cham to stay brighter.
For UVB with fluorescent the longer bulb is covering a larger area, but not necessarily producing more light per inch. The part the will make a difference is the UVB out put of the bulb. 5%/5.0 or 10%10.0. The correct part here will vary a bit with setup.

You are in a great spot. You do not need UVB and can add the bulb when needed. Right now 6500k light for plants, and looks. If your plants are growing well, the Cham will have big advantage when he shows up.

Depends on the plants your trying to grow.

High light plants want, well high light. The Cham would also like good light I think personally.

No the 51w is not overkill, I have 250 watts of LEDs on my 4x2x4 cage. The 51w is a good light, with a ton of light for the wattage.

You can get the Arcadia T5 and chain them off the same power supply as well.
