Good question, I wonder if they are face prints  The male is hot too and super hearty, in addition to the female being very "sexy". Wonder the chances of them being the same locale.... I am obviously very interested :D
We were at Busch Gardens!

Busch gardens? Chameleons? And why were they housed together:confused:

Opposed to popular belief some chameleons can couple and will successfully tolerate a companion. I've actually heard of males having such a companion their entire lives, with the female being rotated out frequently. Also chameleons raised together as siblings become compatible.
As we mentioned before they both look very happy and healthy. My only complaints were that the cage was a bit small for two, and mossy fog was on the bottom, no substrate for her to lay. I'm sure Busch Gardens knows their stuff though and will appropriately care for them. I sure intend to keep a close eye on them, every time I go it's IMPOSSIBLE to stay away. If the female continues to enlarge and I don't see an addition of substrate, I'll try to talk to someone over there....

That's the only pair BG has, and infact they are the only ones I have seen exhibit. It would be nice to identify the local.....

I know one of the guys on the keeping staff at BG. He had next to no information about the panther when I talked to him about it (locale, where they got it, etc.). It does not look like a pure locale though, in my opinion.

I'll have to agree with Chris. To me, it looks like a very good looking cross.

Would we presume that cross to be Nosy Be x Ambanja???? The green bars are what throws it off for me lol.
