Jackson's Shedding Frequency

Just wondering if baby Jacksons shed as often as baby Veileds? I am guessing that they probably don't since they grow a LOT slower. Monty last shed on 1st November, and I have seen no sign of a shed since then, despite his recent growth spurt - he has gained just over a gram in the last two weeks, although it is entirely possible that he has shed completely while I have been at work. With his last shed he had a bit stuck on his head and the end of his tail for a good few days after, so if he has done it since then it was very fast and clean with no tell-tale signs left behind at all! He is 15 weeks old exactly today!

Sorry! Didn't get any new pics yet. He isn't actually shedding yet, but I'll take pics if I am around when he does!

Definately would say that you will experience less shedding periods with Monty as you did with your Veileds. As you said, thy grow slower, causing the smaller amounts of sheds.

Amy is the only other cham I have had since a baby - she was 3 months old when I got her and she would shed every month until she got to 6 months. I think Monty must be due a shed very soon since his appetite has really picked up and he's putting on some weight.
