Jacksons behaviour?

I have an 11 month old jacksons cham, and he never hisses, gapes etc. but he doesnt enjoy being held, looked at etc.
Is this unusual?
And he almost always is this color:

Any suggestions?

this is normal if you hold them if you hold so they are black or darker color so that means he's stressed.don't hold him that much or will decrease lifespan.usually don't pull them off when basking or sitting in the warm spot.

He does get pretty brown when i hold him...occasionally haha
But i try to handle him as little as possible

How do you know he likes being held, and looked at?

He is a healthy looking guy, with nice horns!
