My baby is not beefy. He is a tiny 109 grams.

Yes I know, I hate to think what will happen when the 2 mellers are ready for free ranges. If they need bigger space that Lenny has they will take my bedroom- I am sure David would have an issue with that.

From your mouth to Lenny's ears. Athena is up to 57 grams so she will be wanting out of a cage soon. I just don't know how Lenny would take it. He has Mr. Bill (panther) in with him and that went ok, but bill wouldn't eat out of a cage so back he went.

I was not calling im husky He is a perfect Quad. I know how you worry about him and everytime I see him I think he looks great!! My boys are 72g and 80g so he is GREAT!!! big and healthy

Handling - How often do you handle your chameleon? whenever he wants, or whenever I feel he should be somewhere other than where he is. Some days none, some 1 some 2 or 3 times
Feeding - What are you feeding your cham? What amount? What is the schedule? How are you gut-loading your feeders? He eats mostly dubias, but also silkworms, crickets, mantis and the occasional butter worm. He eat every other day or every 2 days. average is 3 or 4 med dubia. Gutload with cricket crack, bugbuger, water crystals for water, and veggies - very little fruit.
Supplements - What brand and type of calcium and vitamin products are you dusting your feeders with and what is the schedule? Plain clacium 2 x week, calcium with d3 once every 2 or 3 weeks, multi vit one every 2 or 3 weeks.
Watering - What kind of watering technique do you use? How often and how long to you mist? Do you see your chameleon drinking? Mistking 4 times a day 3 min each, dripper all day, & mommy like to hand mist him also[/COLOR]

Temperature - What temp range have you created (cage floor to basking spot)? Lowest overnight temp? How do you measure these temps? I have have no earthly clue. Temp gauges are 3 places in his room, close to heat light as he can get 87, most tree area 78/77 lover down 70. Night 65
Humidity - What are your humidity levels? How are you creating and maintaining these levels? What do you use to measure humidity? Humidity depends where you are in the room. If he feels the need for humidity he will sit about 12" above his humidifier. It runs 14 hours a day on average.
Plants - Are you using live plants? If so, what kind? Ficus. umbrella, pothos, bunches of each
Placement - Where is your cage located? Is it near any fans, air vents, or high traffic areas? At what height is the top of the cage relative to your room floor? large bedroom, he goes floor to ceiling, no fans, has an air vent, only he and I are every in there
Location - Where are you geographically located? Havre, Montana - just south of Canada

Current Problem - The current problem you are concerned about. Mostly I worry about uvb, I just have no way of knowing if he is getting everything he needs.

How many dubia a week? At what size?. I assume you hand offer these foods? Or cup feed? Does he ever hunt? I think some flying prey items would be good for him.

Is it two, or three? Supplements (IMO) are not a good thing in general. As they are a lot of one thing, dumped into the chameleons system at once. Keeping them on an evenly spaced out, regular schedule minimizes this "sudden impact", and is healthier for the animal. Just my opinion though.

Two year old WC never tested for parasites? Wouldnt be a bad idea to get a fecal done.

If he likes the window sill, give him a nice perch by it, so he has something to hold onto.

With such a large area, and you voicing concerns on him getting UVB, why not switch to a powersun or two? I hear good things, and thats what I would do.

Id suggest getting a temp gun, if you dont have one already. Then, monitor his skin temp throughout the day. I have no experience with this type of chameleon, but Im sure others have skin temps you could compare too. My xanth keeps her temp at 83-85F throught the majority of the day. She will raise it as high as 87F after a meal though. (If thats helpful)

Sounds good. Any idea what these ambient RH levels are though? Id suggest monitoring it. You dont want him RH-comfy one place, and temp-comfy another, and not be able to find a happy medium. Monitoring this will allow you to make any necessary adjustments, such as moving the humidifier.

If he isnt showing signs of stress, or MBD, its likely hes ok, given the length of time he has been kept this way. Or has he not been kept this way for long? At anyrate, the suggestion to switch to a powersun still stands. As it would cover a larger area with UVB/UVA.
