Hey Everyone.

Ive always wanted to go to Madagascar. And I have the opportunity to go to a very small private island called Constance Tsarabanjina. My one thing is my head is it considered to travel to this part of the world right now or in the next year or so. I want to cross this off of my bucket list, but dont want it to be my last trip, haha.

Let me know what you guys think!!!

My husband, daughter and I went in Nov. 2012 and some areas were definately dangerous. We mostly stayed on the island of Nosy Be and it was surrounded by guards and I felt very safe there. We loved it and plan to go back in a couple years. My threads about the trip are below incase you are interested.

Ive never heard of that island but when traveling the main island you are out of luck if you don't speak French or Malagasy once you get to the out lying area's.

A few of us here have been there and had no issue's. I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Its a super small island north of nosy be, south of nosy faly. I have the opportunity to go there with someone on their timeshare. The photos and place look amazing. Breath taking to be honest, I just wonder about safety being American's. And unfortunately no, I dont speak any other languages.

I felt safer there walking the roads at night then I would ever feel here. If your going with someone who has a time share chances are someone is going to speak English.

Go for it!
