Is to much uva bad for them?

I have a light that I think that has uva in it (dont know the amount). Would it be ok if I got heat bulb that has uva in it as well. Im pretty sure it wont have that much uva in it. But do u think its ok for my baby male yemen chameleon? Or is there to much uva in the cage?

Heres the lamp that im getting and what lamp should I get the flood light or the spot light lamp.

Thank you

They are colorblind without uva. They need it.

I like more the floodlight because the light angle is wider. The spotlight is good, but it is very narrow.

Ok, so alot of uva lighting wont kill your baby yemen chameloen or harm it in anyway and it doesn't matter which light I get? Also apart from the look of the two light bulb (heat) what's the difference? Because I have read the page but nothing saids about them.

The only difference is how wide the heat is spread. One is a spot and one is a flood. Apart of that they are the same.
I do not think you will have any problem about the uva with those basking spots as long as the chameleon can get away from it whenever he/she likes

Ok thanks, but I got the spot light. It's really dark in my chameleons home so im not using it. Do you have any suggestions? I have a heat blub already so he's ok but I do need to get a new one soon what so you use or a heat bulb you recommend?
