I put one of the new Sheff's in Ziggy's cage today. I had to go to Lowe's and get a shorter plant stand and actually had to chop one of two tall stalks. Its really full.

Is it too much? Do I need to prune it a bit. I like how it looks and he can explore inside it, but I'm not sure if its too big and full.

I have the pic beside the sparse one still in Daario's for comparison.

I am a super newbie here so please politely correct me if I am wrong? Can you have too much foliage? With the amount of foliage you are offering just provide more cover and therefore help minimize stress?

You are probably correct. I just want to be sure, I am pretty new at this as well.

You will be fine. You will probably loose a but of the density as the light won't penetrate the inner portion, so it will thin itself out.

Otherwise, just make sure it all dries out between mistings.

I have loads of foliage. Popeye loves his privacy. I've no problems with uv getting through. Chams move in and out of uv, much like they would in the wild.
