is this setup worth it?

Hello all ! My name is Nate and I just joined this forum today and have been reading so much the last 3 hours I am getting a headache. I am going to be getting back into the hobby after 10-11 years off. I am still debating on which panther to get but the system comes first so is this a good setup to start with or would it be cheaper do get everything individualy?

thats where i ordered my package also. everything is good except the analog thermometer and humidity guage, get a digital one instead. and the cage seems a little flimsy and there are some little gaps where the screen and sides meet, the crickets like to hide in but that can easily be fixed with a hot glue gun. but other then that its a great set up. also idk if you know but they do charge about another 30 for shipping cost, at least it did for me. but even then i think its cheaper than buying every thing seperate. but good look to you and i hope every thing works out

oh and you can save a little if you buy the 14 pc set then buy 2 plants from the site and just hunt for your branches. just a suggestion.

no problemo! are you getting live plants to? haha yeah its lost of fun, take some one on a branch hunting date. i think that website show you how to steralize the branches too.

If I were to go the other route and get a cage and supplies seperately would a 18x18x30 cage last awhile? What size /age would I need to upgrade?

Ya Thats where I would buy all my stuff from. I actually live 15 minutes away from one of their stores and have been getting all my reptile stuff there for years.

How big would the chameleon need to be for me to upgrade? I wish I kept all my old cages

panther? or what are you deciding? a female panther would be fine in that size its whole life, in my opinion, but the extra space for them never hurts. its all about giving them enough space to regulate their body temperature and hide if they want. thats why the extra room is always a plus.

mine is a bit much for a young one but.. i love showing mine off. now if only i could get my veiled to like coming out of it like he did his old smaller one.

i added more stuff few days after that pic. playing wheres waldo can take upto an hour if he doesnt want to be bothered.
working on cloning more for when the ones on the shelf get big enough to bo on the bottom i can put new one on the shelf to go so that one day i can take the shelf out
cant wait to take the shelf and fake plants out
