Is this plant safe?

So I bought this plant to put in a bridal shower prize basket, and I'm really liking the looks of it. Could anyone tell me if it is chameleon-safe? I would like to have one for my enclosure, but I'll settle for a windowsill if it is harmful

The tag it came with says it is Croton "petra"

Yep it's safe. They do grow fairly slow, also watch for it to start getting droopy (not from being thirsty). If you can, try to put it outside, they like a lot of light.
