Is this okay for a jacksons chameleon? plus i spray his cage from 5-10 times daily
That might be to much lol if you are concerned about the humidity like it seems like because you spray it so frequently I totally recommend getting a live plant, they are great for the humidity and give them a lot of foliage to hide in and climb on.
Honestly have it set for four times a day for 15 minutes each. I have a veiled chameleon and I only spritz her about 4-5 times a day and she is doing great and is hydrated and the humidity is great(Ficus!!) her humidity is at about 67%.
How often you set your particular cycles depends on your local humidity. No one can really predict what will work for your situation. Test your schedule by monitoring the cage humidity between fogging periods to see how much variation this schedule provides. That's the only real way to know. If the cage isn't drying out too much but isn't sitting saturated (very high constant humidity) it should be good, but testing will also tell you if you really need to spray/fog this often.
Probably not. Just because the fog doesn't seem to reach all parts of the cage (how big is yours BTW?) doesn't mean it isn't raising the air humidity in the entire area. I can't imagine a region where leaving it running all day should ever be necessary. You want to create a gradient of temp and humidity throughout your habitat so the cham can move between them as it needs to.
