Is this ok?

I made a cage frame for my chameleon and I accidentally used PT wood. I figured out this wood was not good for chameleons after I built it. I have let the frame sit out in the sun for a couple weeks and will coat it with multiple coats of polyurethane sealant. Do you think this will be enough to protect my Cham?

It would depend on the specific chemicals that wood was originally treated with and when. Older treatment chemicals are toxic (that's why it retards rot...it kills the organisms). There were some nasty heavy metals used, and they could continue to leach out in damp/wet situations like a cham cage. I do not know if simply sealing would work. Better safe than sorry!!

You put that so eloquently
