Is This Normal?

when we took our female veiled chameleon out of her cage and held her recently she was very bright when she was out of the cage and very dark when we put her back in.... also while we were holding her she kept opening her mouth, without puffing up or hissing. anyone know why?????? i have also noticed that every once in a while she will make a noise like she is sneezing.

Did you notice alot of saliva in her mouth? It could be a Respiratory infection. Are you sure she was not just opening her mouth at you cause she was mad?.

no saliva in her mouth and do u know why she would be bright outside of the cage and dark when she is inside???
