is this normal in baby veiled chams?

I believe she's female and I bought her a few days ago but it worries me because when she walks she is very very shaky. I saw her fall once but I think it was more because the plant gave and I saw her miss two crickets when she tried to eat them? Is any of this normal or not?

Males have little spurs on the back of their back heels. The females do not. It is not normal for chameleons to fall or miss their food with their tongues. It can happen a time or two, but if it is something constantly occurring, then there is most likely something wrong.

Ok thank you! And are babies usually shaky? She moves around a lot but shakes when she does.

Baby chameleons, especially, seem to rock back and forth as they walk, proceeding in a lurching, jerky way that may help them blend in among windblown foliage.

It's normal - for them - but can be a bit startling!

I've seen it in veileds and panthers, but it's a bit different between the two species.
