Is this a healthy mouth?

Tannin has a little bit of stringy saliva going on, but I've only seen it twice in the two weeks that I've had him and this time when I grabbed him for pictures. I have never heard him breathing or popping, or seen bubbles. Is this saliva normal or an early URI? Would you like me to fill out the 'ask for help' form? Does his mouth look healthy?

that looks normal to me. They will have normal saliva string like hat when they open wide.

Great! Thank you for replying. I might be a little overcautious with him...
I had difficulty finding pictures of a healthy mouth. (Well, on the forums. I don't trust google images that much.)

OMG, he looks like some kind of squeeze toy! Like you squeeze his sides and his mouth pops open! It looks OK to me too.

There was no squeezing involved, I promise!!! He does look like a squeeze toy though.

Thanks. It was really neat to see all the parts of his mouth on the pictures because he was twisting his head so fast I couldn't see them.
