Is this a good house for my crickets?

I've just started getting my cricket cage together. I'm getting 500 1/4 inch crickets soon and I just wanted to know if this would be enough room for them, or if anyone has any suggestions. I haven't put the food and water out yet.

Yea that looks good, I've been in the process of building one of my own as well since I decided to start buying feeders in bulk instead of from my local pet store. I'm using a pretty similar configuration, rubbermaid with egg flats, a non drownable water source, dry gutload and fresh vegetables as well. Good luck to you. Hopefully you won't lose many.

I stack all of their "housing"(cardboard stuff) On one side, and put food on the other. It seems to cut down on the food being scattered all over, and poop in the food
Its plenty big enough for 500 yes.
