Is the chameleon trade big outside of the USA?

I am from South Africa.

Here you can buy veileds at a good price. There is only one locale and 1 bloodline of ambanja panthers going around. They are a bit more expensive than veileds.
There is a few people trying to import but it is very difficult.

You can occasionaly find some mellers.
In the future we will have CB mellers, oustalets, fischers, ambilobes, tamataves, jacksons, and probably some pygmys. In S.A you will get away with selling a pair of ambilobes at the equivalent of $1200. So please feel free to send me panthers by any means possible ;)

Maybe when I have finished classes and am breeding chameleons again I can start exporting captive bred panthers to South Africa.

That would be great Jeremy.

It also gives me time to find a way how to import them or finding a quarantine station.

We must stay in contact;)
