my female chameleon tootsie is gravid we felt the eggs, we toked her to the vet and we saw the eggs, she started going under the cage for almost two weeks i placed a laying bin in her cage covered the cage but i haven't seen any sighs of her digging i feed her she eats one cricket and just stands over the branch i left for her on the bin, now i still have all the decorations such as leaves branches and so on maybe if i only leave the bin will she get in and dig i don't know, or maybe she isn't ready my question is how long those it take for a female veiled chameleon to lay her eggs she has never been with a male before and what can i do for her to notice the laying bin thank you for your help in advance the bin is a 8 inch bucket all black with eco earth soiled and i made a tunnel and it dint collapsed

How long has she had the eggs in her? Has she dug any test holes yet? If she is refusing to lay you may need to place her in a large trash can with the bottom filled with soil. It will help persuade her to dig and lay.

im guessing she has had the eggs for like 2 or 3 weeks the vet told me to wait 2 weeks and see what to do from there.

no test holes yet she was on the bottom of the cage and like knocking on the walls.

when i went with her to the vet and we saw the eggs and i placed the laying bin but like i said no sighs of digging if i place her in the large trash can, and she is not ready to lay wont she become depressed or something? and waiting 2 weeks isn't to much for her. take in mind these behavior has been shown 2 weeks
