Is my female egg bound?

Hello

This is my first chameleon (Kanye) and her first time producing a clutch of eggs. She is a single chameleon and has not been around males. I am worried she might have rejected the laying bin. How do I know if she becomes egg bound?
I am positive she has eggs as she changed into the beautiful orange and robin egg blue (picture attached). Although it's hard to she in the colouring in the picture she is plump! She is also digging at the bottom of her cage and in the planted pots so I removed everything and placed a large bin with soil only (damp) at the bottom (picture attached). She showed no interest and I find her often at the very bottom of the cage scratching.

I try not to peek at her and have placed white bristel board around her cage (it is not against her cage just around it so lots of air movement still).

After researching some more today I added sand, dampened the mixture a bit, added a plant, and made a small short tunnel. Laying bin is about 10 inches tall, 15 inches long by 5 inches wide.

Kanye is not friendly (another issue still working on it!) however she is still eating so I was able to get her onto my hand by feeding her a worm. Then I placed her in the bin by the tunnel I dug and she immediately sprinted out.

She looks healthy, is eating (I read they stop eating when they see going to lay), and basking in the lights. Temp is around 82 F however humidity is now suffering because I have removed the plants and there is nothing to spray - I sprayed her today because I am afraid of dehydration however she hates it.

I'm nervous it's too late and she has rejected the bin and will become egg bound? Help! What can I do before it's too late! Am I just being impatient ? I went away on vacation and came back feb 26th when I noticed her colour change and behavior change. Then I researched and placed the first bin in the tank on Tuesday feb 29th.

Thank you!!

Try not disturb her at all, give her much space for her to complete laying her eggs,if all things failed, then u will need to bring her to the vet n follow the guidelines.

Thank you for your reply! Do I just leave her alone until she lays or starts to get worse? I feel like she will starve or become dehydrated.

It's too bad you disturbed the cage if she was digging in the pot....however hopefully she will start digging again tomorrow if you don't watch her or let her see anyone watching her while she's digging. If she shows signs of lethargy, sits, ow in the cage, shuts her eyes during the day, take her to the vet's asap.
You can feed and water her as long as she's not in the bin when you do it and don't leave any insects she doesn't eat roaming free in the cage.
Good luck!

Thank you ! I never actually saw her digging there was just dirt all other the place. The plotted plants weren't not sufficient to lay eggs in.

Take a picture of the the bin inside, and compare the pic u going to take after she digging n lay,so u csn notice the different, since when she finished laying the eggs, she usually cover the sand soil evenly without a trace for any predators knowing that the eggs are under in there.
This way u will know if she actually digging under without disturbing her laying process.
