Is it normal for Chams to have SOME saliva in there mouth? In doesn't happen all the time, actually very rarely. But today my veiled hissed and gaped at me( he's in a bad mood today) and there was a string of saliva, it didnt stay there once his mouth opened more it disappeared. He shows no signs of an RI, but if this isn't normal I want to get a jump on it and take him to the vet before he starts to get too sick.

Thanks in advance

I would not worry about it too much and to answer your question yes it is normal for this to happen. I would watch him just in case a RI starts to present itself. I have had great success in getting rid of a start of an RI with Reptaid. LLL Reptile sells it. This is a good product to have on hand and a god preventative. Saved me a trip to the vet a couple times now.
