Is it bad for calcium to build up at the bottom of the tank?

When I feed my veiled chameleon the crickets drop to the floor of the cage and they leave the dust all over the bottom of the cage. I cant have a substrate because a lot of things at the bottom and if a had paper towels at the bottom it would cause a lot of extra stress to him needing to hold all the decor up to change it is it bad for can i just clean it out every two weeks, give or take a for days?

As long as it does get cleaned up regularly it can work. You don't want it to build up into a thick coating combined with other grungy stuff that your insects will get all over themselves, because your cham will end up eating that stuff too.

I think you may be putting too much calcium on them. You just need to lightly dust them don't tern them into little white ghost.
