Does anyone know if Agar is safe to give to chameleons? I would like to use it to thicken my homemade gutload but uncertain if its safe......

Agar is used in many insect foods (like mulberry chow and hornworm chow.) Its fine to use. Keep in mind that boiling foods can destroy some nutrients though. Im not sure what you are putting in your gutload, but I suggest mixing the agar with the hot/boiling water first, letting it cool a little and then adding the mix after. If you are making a wet (fruits and veggies) gutload, you can try making a smoothie from it and them freezing it in an ice cube tray.

Great! Thank you:) yes what I am making would be considered a wet mix with fresh fruits and veggies.... I like the smoothie idea.... im going to try it ....
