Hello,

Can't remember if I've said an Official Hello yet or not, but as I've already started to post on some of the threads, thought I'd better say Hi! :D

I'm a UK midwife of a certain age (ahem) with two teenage kids. My son got a bearded dragon called Diego several months ago and as his interest has waned, so mine has increased and I'm practically sole carer to the little guy who I find endlessly fascinating. But he's up in my sons bedroom so I've taken the plunge and bought a large reptibreeze for the living room.

I'm slowly filling it with living plants, artificial vines, sticks, branches and some flowers. I've got a dark green shower curtain to aid humidity and keep the mess low during misting sessions. The heat and light arrive this week and I should be collecting my gorgeous 5 month old Yemen Chameleon from a brilliant local pet shop on saturday. She's reserved for me and very friendly - comes to the cage front for a chat when I go see her.

I'm going to call her Budgie and I'm VERY excited. This forum is the only thing that's keeping me going until saturday!!

Welcome to the forum. We will keep you going long after Saturday! You will find tons of information, friends, pictures of other peoples chameleons, just lots of reasons to drop in each day. And just to get you started off correctly, don't forget to take pictures of your cham when it arrives. We all share pictures and love to see everyone's chams. We will even help you post your first set of pictures when your chameleon arrives, but you could practice now by posting where you are on your enclosure.:)

Hello, good choice on chameleon and on this forum. You've only kept a bearded dragon for a few months and you've gone straight for a chameleon! I hope you know you are not just excited, you are now an addict :D. A friendly 5 month old female should be easy enough with all the free advice on this forum though.
