Even if you transfer the egg to its new location safely, incubate for 9 months, then get it to hatch, you now have a very fragile baby to take care of. Most breeders won't sell chameleons under 3 months of age because of this fragile and delicate state. Not sure of your expertise with chameleons but taking care of a hatchling is more challenging than taking care of one that is already established. It's not a good idea in my opinion.
