Infected lips on a 5 months old carpet cam

Hello,
it is my first cam and he have an infected lip, at first I though it was an old burn as it is kind of whitish around the area on his jaw. But found out tiny blood drops mixed with infection is leaking...

There is no reptile vet where I am and the only thing I found helping him is massaging his jaw with a celeri piece dipped in sea salt...He seems to like it as he is now really relax when i am doing it (he wasn't on the first times!!!!)

He still drink a lot, but probably to compense that he eats less...only 1 cricket every 2 days!!!! I am worry, and my son too!:confused:

All my moisture / temp / food supplement / calm environment & all are respected.

What should I do more
Please help we love our Cookie boy, and his girlfriend Stawberry (who is not catching any infection from him) too!

Thanks

If it has mouth rot, then it really needs the area to be cleaned out properly and a culture and sensitivity test done on the exudate so that the chameleon can be put on an appropriate antibiotic. The germ involved in mouth rot is often pseudomonas and not the easiest to get rid of. The fact that you said blood is involved indicates an opportunity for the bacteria to get into the blood stream and spread.

It really should be seen by a vet.
