What is e best incubator?

This might sound like a stupid question but how do you grab the eggs once they are layed? Do you just grab them gently and move them to the incubator like that?

I wont be using an incubator to hatch my eggs.
but, to remoe them, gently dig them up, then just scoop under and place in your hatching material.


after place, dont roll the egg.

Use something like tweezers to grab them, taking care not to rotate them around and place them in your incubation medium, I've read that the oils on your fingers will clog the surface of the shell and make air exchange harder. And the eggs are so small, that your fingers cover a large surface area! Or use powder-free gloves, that would probably be fine as well.

If you have a room in your house that doesn't get below 68*F then you don't really need an incubator. They do really well at room temp, so most people put them in a little closet or something to incubate in the room temp. Between 70-75*F they will do great.

Lol Yea, it's not something you think about. But I read it somewhere on here once and it's always made sense to me. And at any rate, why not take the extra precaution, right?

better safe then sorry, and then,i wont get dirt/sand all over my fingres and under my nails, whcih i hate!
