i am about to incubate oustalet's chameleon eggs and i dont know what temp i should set and how offten to add water please help??

Mid to upper 70s...take a pinch of your media, squeeze ...if it feels moist, good...if water drips out... too wet!!! Not very scientific but it works....

thank you

hey thanks man that actually helps alot my chameleon laid 24 eggs yesterday which i have in a tubaware with vermiculite wet it just like you said no water dripping out and now she has laid 5 more today and is still not done but i also would like to know can i put the tubaware with the eggs in the incubator? or do i have to re take out the eggs and directly put them in?

ok but what i mean is i have all the eggs in tubaware containers cause i did not have an incubator and i just got one now can i leave the eggs in the tubaware and put that in the incubator or do i have to only put the eggs in?

I put my eggs in damp vermiculite, put 2 holes in the lid made with a thumb tack (one on each end of the cover) then put the cover on and put it in an interior closet where the temps stay fairly stable. I put the container on an upper shelf along with a thermometer where I can check temps periodically. I live in Florida and my house is air conditioned so the temps inside remain in the 70 - 75 range all year along. Lucky me.

You don't need to add water throughout the incubation time.
