I think there is a caterpillar in my hibiscus.

the leaves have been getting holey and at first i though my veiled was eating the leaves, but there are holes in the middle of the leaves and i don't he is capable of chewing like that i sprayed it with the hose outside and checked the leaves but can't find any bugs. what should i do?

Could be a slug. Check with a flashlight tonight, about a hour or two after the light go out.
