I think Omar has a burn on his nose!?

I noticed a little black spot on the tip of Omar's nose and thought it was some dirt. I tried to wipe it away and it looks like the first picture. I know his ridges look very black but he is pissed off and they don't look like that when he is chilling in his cage. I am not sure if it is a burn or trauma as the very top corner of his cage came undone and there was some wire sticking out. I thought I got it all secured and couldn't find anything there today. He is active, eating and drinking. I am going to use some Neosporin on it and see how it does. How long should it take before I see improvement and what should I look for in terms of things not going well?
The first picture was taken yesterday and the second today.

Looks like nose rub.

Some chams tend to rub their noses or chins on the screen, which causes a sort of rug burn effect.

It scabs over, and eventually heals.

Just watch it, see if it develops more, or if it begins to look infected.

Otherwise, it will go away and heal in a few weeks.

Thanks, I will. He does like to stick that nose everywhere!! Since I sort of rubbed open the one little part there should I use some Neosporin?
