I think my female panther is starting to come around....

I have a female panther that will freely go in my male panthers cage when I hold her up to his cage. She used to freak out whenever he started doing his head twitching thing (which looks pretty funny) but she doesn't freak out anymore and just carries on slowly moving around the tank. The male ended up not mating and just drank but I had them together for 2 hours and had to go to work so I put her back in her tank.

Should I just keep trying? Our temps are a little on the cooler side (nothing bad, just not like what it is during the summer) so I'm thinking this may affect the whole breeding thing right now.

I tried today, I had the 2 together in the same enclosure for about 4 hours today, she was fine and was eating and drinking and so was he but he never tried to mate, it was funny she climbed up his tail to get on a branch. She did gape her mouth once at him when he was walking around but what should I do should I keep trying to breed/mate them using this method? She doesn't seem stressed out in the tank or anything and just stays her normal colours.

Should I try every day or less than that?

Definitely less even if she's not showing stress colors being around a male for to long can be bad for her health.

I tried today for 2 hours but they just walked around the tank drinking and eating, i'll wait about a week again before trying again.

I can't figure out why they won't breed. I knew it wouldn't be easy but this is pretty damn hard.
