I should know this....

I am moving on May first from my apartment to a house. I would like to have my spare bedroom as the pets room so here is my question... If I had Jasper on one side of the room and Bagera on the other would that be ok or would that be to close for them?

you should have them right next to each other, just put a visibility barrier in between the two, and make sure the cages are the same height. you can even save doe by having one large UVB fixture that covers both cages. Styrene works, so does a thin towel.

they are in two very different size cages so I cant have them next to eachother.... so thanks for not giving me an answer to my question :p

You would need a visual barrier.

If you are looking for help, accept all kind of answers and don't be rude to someone that is trying to help.

I was not rude.... I was joking....how far would the have to be apart so you wouldnt need that barrier

Buy a large piece of cardboard and stand it up, attaching to the taller cage. You might not like how it looks, but I bet your chameleons will benefit. That is what matters most. :)

that gives me an idea.... if I have them both on the same wall and just hang a large towel on one side... kind of like you said ealier... that would work right? they just wont be right .ext to each other

to make this easier for you, the money situation etc. It is best to have them right next to each other. That way you can share a UVB fixture...

yikes...

Just put a towel on one cage so it blocks the view.... ColorCham is right that if you put them next to each other you can share fixtures, but that's not in any way required.

Jaspers cage is 48'' long and Bageras is 30"long so that wont work lol

by long do you mean height or width? if your talking width I don't see a problem with a 48inch reptisun being split over both cages in the middle.... just make sure the basking light "lures" them into the UVB light as well.

As for if its ok for them to see each other.... my two males can see each other as Leo is in the middle of my room on a table and Basil is against the wall on a chest.... so they can obviously see each other... but so far so good, no random gaping or hissing from either and no stress colorations.

But I must admit both are very docile males, no fuss to come out, eat from the hand e.t.c e.t.c. Im sure with an aggressive animal though it might be an issue....

if one cage is taller than the other, simply put the smaller one on some sort of stand so they are equally tall. sit them next to eachother, put a piece of cardboard inbetween then get one long uvb fixture and you're set brother.

I agree with everyone here. A large beach towel to keep them from seeing each other will work great. When my daughter brings her male panthers here Luie just freaks out when he catches a glimpse of one of them and I know you wouldn't want to stress either of your guys and who knows when Bageras grows up he'll need a 48 inch high cage, unless you decide to free range, and you might want to share fixtures then.

Japsers is the big one and Bagera is in the small one

Jasper is on a kitchen table and Bagera is on a desk. If I put them on the same wall but in different corners and put a beach towel on the sides of each cage. Would that would work right?

You can put them on the same wall, you can do whatever you want so long as there is a visual barrier.

However, I think it's hard for anyone to help when we don't know your complete situation, as to why you can't put the cages together, etc.
