In the wild I'm pretty sure if they wanted to mate they would regardless of the locale. Captive breeding frowns upon it but no ones forcing them to breed, on another note it shouldn't matter so long as when they are sold everyone knows they are a mix

Completely agree about breeding in the wild- probably why we already have so many different color variations in the "pure" locales - because in the wild they don't know that the "purist breeders" would frown upon them mating because they are different locales. As for when I sell my chams, I ALWAYS disclose the genetics of the chams I sell, so no one can ever come back to say that they didn't know they bought a hybrid from me.
