I need some ideas about cup feeders...

So I have tried a few things things to let Golem cup feed have not found anything that works great and now that I have my Monsoon everything seems to be drowning even tho I have cut holes into the bottom of my cups. Any pics of links or ideas would be great!

I'd go with the sprite thing, just I'd be worried about the cut out edges so maybe out something over that so your Cham doesn't cut his mouth.

there's also the SunnyD versions that are quite popular.

Is there a reason that for your staple feeder that you can not free range?

I have found for my panther that he eats a lot more staple feeders when I let them just free range. He seems to get excited about running around blasting them. He see's me get the dusting cup out of the closet, and he heads for the foliage to start his ambush every morning. For worms / grubs though I use a cup. Post #18 shows a pic of my small feeder cup.

I have Luke's brother and he also much prefers to free range his crickets. I have tried to get him to cup feed but he prefers to hunt. I do cup feed phoenix worms but horns and silks I just put on his branches and he zaps them right up. I just wish I could figure out a way to get him (and Omar) to eat roaches. I have dubias and turks Omar won't touch either one and Clouseau could care less for the baby dubia I really wanted them to like them so I would not have to buy crix!

Luke loves him some discoids. He gets one or two every other day kind of a thing. Set one on his vine, and away he goes all excited like a little boy chasing a balloon. Except he catches the "balloon".

I am just looking for ideas I am free roaming now but I really don't want to take the chance of a roach escape the random cricket I can deal with but if I get a loose roach I am going to lose it!

OMG, my wife totally looses it even with an escapee cricket. I would never tell her ANYTHING about discoids. I completely understand.

You could try using roaches instead of crickets

Another approach is to use a larger plastic box for the feeders (deeper so they don't tend to try jumping out) so they move around more and your cham can climb down to the rim of the box and shoot at leisure. Replace part of the bottom with a patch of hot-glued window screen so it can drain. Or, wedge small twigs in the bottom so the feeders can climb above any accumulated water.
