I just bought my veiled chameleon from lllreptile.com, I took it out, and introduced him to the cage. It just sat their with eyes closed. I offered it food but he turned the other way. I don't know if he is sick, or stressed. He is about middle finger length and I don't know what to do...

He will not instantly warm up to you. Give him some time to relax. Do not touch or handle him unless necessarily. Also I would post pictures of your cage so we can check every thing out and make sure it is setup correctly.

I dont have a camera but he is in a 16x16x30 screen cage with UVB 5.0, and I am getting rid of the 100 watt bulb because it is too hot. Right now there is a few vines but im getting a live ficus in the next week or so.

I would get some type of plant or foliage in there right away and don't wait a week. If you have only vines, he will have nowhere to feel secure and it will totally stress him out especially being in a new environment.
