yes everyone is correct! even the easiest Cham is much harder to care for than most animals. another thing to understand is that reptiles no matter which kind live longer than most mammals there size. therefore getting a Cham maybe a long commitment. also scouting the correct area of the house to put them in is a big deal. u have to monitor the area you want to put the Cham to see what temps are normal in that area. then once you get a set up you need to monitor the temps with the proper lighting installed. different chams need different temps. I've always said that other than the normal things like food, water (mistings), and cage setups, temperature is THE most important factor that is sometimes overlooked. no matter how good the food, how offend you mist, or how nice the cage is, the Cham will not survive without the correct temps!!! so u might want to get a ball park of what temps u have available in your house so u can see what Chams can thrive in those temps. then u can choose from there.
