I own a Veiled Chameleon and the owner before me said he had the chameleon for 6 months. He is about 3 inches max, not including his tail.. which would probably make him about 6-7 inches longish. The past owner also said that the person that sold the chameleon to him said it was a girl... and that she didn't grow much since he got her.

Anyways.. I noticed my UVB bulb has a black spot in the middle.. and its a florescent as well. So I'm guessing it hasn't been changed since the last owner bought the lizard. I'd like to have what is best for him/her... So I'm looking for a inexpensive fixture brand that will work with the linear UVB bulbs. Is there a brand that someone can suggest?

Also..
Any ideas for making more perches in my cage? The cage is 16x16x20, it is the zoomed one. & are there any perches that don't require to poke holes in the screened sides?

Thank you~~

I use Arcadia fixtures and bulbs from Light Your Reptiles (forum sponsor). The bulbs last a full year. As for perches I use bamboo stakes and branches from the yard. I attach them with thumbtacks though the screen, they do not damage the mesh and hold up well.

Yep, that would work fine.

If you want something better (more $$) get Arcadia fixture and T5 high
output tube.

But U could always 'upgrade' later :)
