hi as im new to all this i just need a question answered i just got my little boy yesterday i gave him locusts yesterday he never ate them he just walks straight past them but then i bought crickets and ive seen him eat 2 . why dosent he eat the locust ?

He may not be used to them and also needs time to acclimate to his new home. I am not familiar with feeding locusts.

sorry another question he is just doing laps of his tank all the time and hes changing colours all the time is this normal and how do i check the humidty sorry i no im asking alot of questions but all the books i read seem to contridict themselves

I would think that pacing would be a good sign, since he is active. How big is the cage? To check the humidity you would need a hygrometer. I would recommend getting a thermometer/hygrometer combination.

Little Eragon..

Your little Eragon is a real cutie. He has probably never seen a locust before so he's not sure about eating it. Try again in a week or so. Pacing the cage is very normal for a little guy like your boy. He should be very active. They slow down as they mature. Congrats on your new cutie :)
