I can't help it but I just ordered 5 leaf chameleons at lllreptiles. Breeding questions.. Will the male pair up with someone or is he going to be a pimp and have 4 female chameleons ahah. Going to house em in a 30 gallon gank!

He will be a happy man with 4 ladies! Every couple of months they will all lay eggs! Then you will have lots of these!

yeah i know I can't wait!!! Maturity is 4 months too!! Planning to have 3-4 inches deep of soil.. Do I just use the organic soil from lowe's? Any tips of decorating the tank... Like dead leaves etc.. should I rinse it with hot water blah blah..

According to Trace these guys breed like crazy. You have set yourself up for a constant stream of babies with 4 females ... was that the plan?

well what was a somewhat plan. Didn't know it would be constant breeding. I already have an incubator from years ago and I hope it still works properly. Anyhow I bought 5 because I thought it was a good amount for a 30 gallon tank. I also bought a pair of veiled... so all together Im saving money on shipping . I didn't plan to get the leaf right away but hey might as well since I'll be feeding my pair of baby veiled pinheads. Also I heard you can't really have two males in one tank.. ... so I just did one male and the rest females
