I am so sorry Omar

Omar passed away today. I found him on the bottom of his cage with eyes closed; he died a short time later in my hands; I am devastated.

He had been battling with a thermal burn that covered most of his back. He had escaped from his cage after pulling the top screen out and then setting directly under his heat lamp. I believe he was stressed from that and then got a URI which was too much for him, despite treatment.
