Hi,

Is 70% humidity too high for a veiled? Having trouble lowering it today & I'm considering removing the hibiscus plant to bring it down to around 60%

What type of enclosure is the cham in, 70 isnt bad but its good to have it dry out a little more between mistings. Adding a small fan can really help.

He's in a glass exo-terra. It was smelling a bit funky today & I thought the humidity might have something to do with it.

I'm upgrading his cage at the weekend to a wooden terrarium, which would allow drainage to be put in the bottom. Although- at 4.5 months, is he big enough for an adult cage?

As long as he can find his food or is cup fed he can move up as soon as ur ready!
With my old exo terra I built a small screen in a wood frame I would put in the door opening with the door all the way open and through a bungee cord around to hold it when my temps or humidity would creep a lil high.. fan is a good idea though. Just blowing accross the top of the screen
