Just a Quick Question:

Getting a room humidifer for my herp room.
Their are two types; cool mist and warm mist.
Which is better for my little guy?

If this is just for general room humidity and not for the cage itself, either would probably work. But, remember that the "warm mist" types create steam by boiling the water. To get the whole room humid enough you may overheat it. Cool mist types create fog from water (sort of room temp) using super high frequency vibration. Better idea.

Another aspect to consider is evaporative versus ultrasonic. Evaporative humidifiers use a large wick and blow air through it. The wicks need to be replaced or scrubbed, and can really breed bacteria. Ultrasonic types don't use a wick so you don't have to replace anything, just keep the water reservoir clean and use demineralized water if your tap water is hard.
