humidfier at night?

I run it on and off during the day, trying to keep a level between 50-70%. Is it ok to turn it off at night with the lights? It will prob drop to 30-40%. I have been running it and he seems a little lethargic?

30%-40% over night is fine.thats what mine drops too.
