Hugh's First Shed With Me!!

I am so excited to say that Hugh is finally shedding for me for the first time. I was a little worried when I saw him this morning thinking he had burned himself but apon closer inspection, I realized he was shedding. I can't wait for the skin to come off completely!

I do have one question. As I was taking these pictures I noticed that his skin was what looked like a little pinched kind of like he was dehydrated... Is this because of the shedding or is he dehydrated? His eyes look fine to me but i'll let you guys be the judges. His urates are also fine...

His eyes look good and from what I can see his casque looks good. Try to keep your humidity up as it will help his shed... Just wait... the next few weeks he will grow like crazy and his colors will start popping more and more. Good luck he is going to awesome.

Thank you! It seems like his colors just appeared over night! He still is shedding so hopefully he'll be done tomorrow. Hurry up Hugh! He actually drank a tiny bit for me while I was misting today.

my little guy had his first shed this week too. his new skin will look alittle dry but he should be back to normal tomorrow.

He hasn't shed much of his skin, only a very small patch on his back. It's just hanging on there loose, he's all white. Lol! Hope it just sloaths off tomorrow...
