Hows my setup?

Hey guys i just want to know how my setup is. In the pics below i am showing the front veiw of the terrarium, the top, ann the side.

Picture 1 = Everything inside i.e plants sticks (real/fake) and whatnot

Picture 2= R-zilla heatlamp with 60 watt bulb, Reptisun 5.0 UVB bulb with a fish lid light( not the tube just what you put the tube into) and my home made dripper (soon to be replaced with a little dripper)

Picture 3 = My cricket cup i made with a juice jug and some plastic mesh for the crickets to climb up on.

Looks cool to me I would put a Ficus right in the middle of that sucker though. Does your guy stay out in the open or does he like to hide?

he stays out in the open mostly other than that he hides at night when hes sleeping and in the morning when hes waking up

there actually bendable fake jungle vines made by Exo Terra and the smaller one is waterproof but i dont really like it cause its not that bendable :\

Theres is easy dripper setups but i went ahead and got a little dripper so id say unless you want to make one just get one.

I like homemade ones better than the commercially available droppers. A plastic cup with a hole poked in the bottom is really all you need. I also like to poke more than one hole on the bottom to create several drips in different spots. It works out really nice. I feel that you can avoid the costs behind those pet store drippers, and even make a better functioning one with almost no cost at all.

I thought the same thing before I made one for myself. After some experimenting, I find that if you have a thin needle, or a smaller safety pin, you can just tap a hole into the cup using a hammer. Just try to barely poke a hole at all, and don't push the needle - or whatever you use - in all the way to where the needle is the thickest. Only poke through with the very tip where the needle is thinner than the rest of the shaft. If the hole is small enough, then it allows water to drip about once every five seconds or so. With multiple drips going, I find it to work perfectly. Just experiment with making microscopic holes that only let a trickle of water through.

Does the anole live in the cage with your cham?

Does your light fixture have a plastic cover between the lamp and the cham? just a reminder, glass and plastic stop UVB rays which are critical for your cham to process calcium. I would try to angle the heat lamp so it points under the UVB lamp.... make sense?

no they are in seperate terrariums. Iv seen that when chams get bigger they looks as anoles as tastey treats.....and no its just the bulb,the screen from the terrarium and then into the terrarium but ya good thinking and it has been angled
