Hi guys, just looking for some advice on how to safely transport a baby panther chameleon? He will be about 12 weeks old when I pick him up at the end of the month. I've decided it's probably a good idea to arrange a box for transporting him in advance to get everything right :D
This is my first panther chameleon and I can't wait to get him:D

I can understand how excited you are but unless you really know what you're doing I don't recommend it as hatchlings are ALOT of work.
I think waiting until a panther is at least 3 months old so the breeder can make sure that everything is alright is the best thing to do.
On transporting, yea just getting like a cardboard box and then a little tub(like the ones live food come in) and put some foliage in there like a little branch with some leaves and that should do him.. it does depend how far you're travelling really

Welcome to the world of cham owning though, it's awesome :D

Thanks for the info, I breed beardies at the moment so I'm used to feeding lots of hungry little mouths when they hatch:D. Also will I need to put some heat packs in with the little guy? Will be travelling 3 to 4 hours to bring him home, would it be a good idea to use a larger polybox to help with insulation and put the other box in the larger?:)

Well if your going to be in the car it should be warm enough i would just get something small and dark and put a twisted paper towel in there for him to grab to. Any questions you have dont be afriad to ask
