So I recently found out that there is more to identifying the type of chameleon you than just looking at color! This is obvious in Jackson's , millers, Pygmys etc but not so apparent in ambilobe, ambanja, nosey falys etc... I have since been checking out pictures of different types online and trying to pay more attention to other details. I was hoping that breeders or people that are awesome at looking at a chameleon and identifying would chime in and let me know what it is that they look at and what makes them determine the specific types that they are.
