There are 20 babies now.
It has been 4 days, I give them enough water ank keep the temperature not blow 20°C(Because it is very cold in winter in Beijing )
But they havn't begin to eat anythings up to now.
I have prepared some tinny blaptic dubia for them.
They didn't be insterested in it.
Are there anything what I do is not correct ?
Or shall I wait for them for another 4 days ?
I hope you could give me some suggestions.
Thanks a lot ~

Try pinhead crickets and fruit flies.

It's normal for babies to not eat the first few days after they hatch.

Hello, I always recommend this caresheet for Veileds - https://www.chameleonforums.com/blogs/chameleonsinmyhouse/395-veiled-chameleon-care-sheet.html
Congratulations on your babies! :D
Sometimes it takes a few days for chams to get hungry because they still have some nutrients from the egg, but other insects might help. If you can get pinhead crickets they will probably go for them. Fruit flies are often a favourite of babies, and they can eat lots - though they are a bit harder to calcium dust :)

Congrats on your baby veileds. My babies ate by the second day. As Camimom said get some fruit flies and pinhead crickets.

Good news, they begin to eat pinhead crickets !

My baby chameleons begin to eat,.
I feed them with pinhead crickets which lengh is about 0.5-1cm .

There are 54 babies in one bin( 40cm*35cm*30cm) now.
The baby chameleons are as long as 4cm.
I think I should separate them into another bin.
Keep one bin with 27 chameleons. Is that correct ?
Because I found some babies like to climb, I'm afraid that their claw may hurt each other.

And I found some chameleons like to close their eyes when they stay under the UVA; Why ? Is it too dry ?
