Hey just curious of everyone's tips and trick to ensure their chameleons on getting enough fluids?
I see him licking the leaves and such after the mister comes on but it just doesn't seem like it'd be enough I gut load with a lot of fresh fruit and veggies so I know the crickets are getting plenty of moister, so I know he's getting a little that way but is it all enough? Input is all appreciated so I'd like to here your tips and tricks to ensure your Cham is getting enough to hydrate thanks!

as long as his urate(the whitish) part of his poo is indeed white then you are ok. Watch for eyes that become sunken in, or the top of their head (fat pads on a panther, or casque on a veild) will become sunken also if they are not getting enough water and becoming dehydrated. Try using a dripper also. That is pretty much the only way my chameleon drinks. I follow him around in the cage and drip water on his nose and that usually starts him drinking. Some people use eye droppers and syringes and water that way. That is of course if your cham will let you do that!

You're one lucky lady Carol that Romeo lets you follow him around with a dripper! mine would be running away so fast i couldn't keep up!

If you're seeing him drink, he probably is getting enough. Everytime i watch them drink, it looks like they are hardly getting anything at all. But they must be because their urates are white. So just watch those. If they are yellow or orange, try extending the time of your misting or do an extra one. Adding a dripper would help as mentioned above :)
